Welcome to our comprehensive arts program, designed to nurture creativity and develop essential artistic skills across various proficiency levels. Tailored for students aged 5 years and above, our curriculum offers a structured learning journey from foundational basics to advanced techniques.
Beginners Level: Introduces fundamental drawing techniques, focusing on breaking down shapes and creating cohesive images.
- Level 1: Builds on basic skills with an emphasis on pencil handling, shading techniques, and elemental tools like dots, lines, and shapes.
- Level 2: Extensive study of colours, Colour wheel, Primary, secondary, tertiary colours. Using poster and water colours.
- Level 3: Handling gradation of colour. Study thorough examples of landscape and stills.
- Level 4: Understanding structure, shape proportion of human head, individual parts of face, caricature. Motivating to be creative
- Advanced Level: Elevates proficiency with advanced proportion mastery, light and shadow techniques, and painting complex subjects like what we see in still life, animals, and birds.
- Advanced Short-Term Course: Provides an opportunity for personalized artistic expression based on individual interests. Choosing a theme on student's interest, guidance in doing the specific art work.
Bharatanatyam
Our Bharatanatyam lessons are designed for students of different ages and skill levels.
Beginner Level: Introduction to dance, Basic postures, coordinating eye, hands and leg movements
- Level 1: Basic adavus (steps), Knowledge of 4 types of Abhinaya (Expression) Hand gestures
- Level 2: Continue with BASIC ADAVUS Learn, HEAD, EYE, NECK MOVEMENTS
- Level 3: Basic Adavus 12, Understanding of Dance related texts. Understanding of time cycle, coordinating movement on the basis of that.
- Level 4 (Advanced): Advanced Adavus, Learn to dance with live music, understanding the uses of hasthas, different movements like spins, jumps which add beauty to dance.
- Advanced Level Learning different compositions, coordinating with other students for group performance. Preparing for solo recitals. Guidance on self-improvisation.
- Advanced Short-Term Course: Guidance and practice in specific compositions, as per student's interest and aptitude. One to one sessions on Abhinaya, and choreography elements. Join us and experience the joy of classical dance!
Carnatic Music
Carnatic music is a classical music tradition from South India. Known for its intricate melodies and rhythmic precision, it offers a rich musical experience. It involves scales (swaras), rhythms (taalas), and emphasizes vocal and instrumental techniques. Join us in exploring this captivating musical heritage!
- Level 1: Introduction to Music, Understanding About Nadam & Sruthi, Learning Sapta svara-s and their origin. Understanding Rhythm or Taala in Carnatic Music
- Level 2: Learning Music Forms: Alankaram, Gitam Practising Sapta Talas and their symbols Short life sketches: Learn about prominent figures in Carnatic music
- Level 3: Learning Musical Forms: Jatisvaram, Swarajati, Varnam-s Explore diverse musical compositions and their structures.
- Level 4: Learning Varnams and Kirtanams by different composers. Understanding about Musical Instruments. Familiarizing great composers, Musical Trinity and Alwar or Andal compositions, Thevarams.
- Advanced Level : Various Musical compositions like Pancharatna Keerthanams, Abhang, Padam and Thillana Study of 72 Mēlakarta Ragas, Raga Classification Scheme, Talas and a few elements of Tala Dash Prana
- Advanced Short Term Course : Comprehensive lessons designed for dedicated students to guide them in traditional repertoire.
